Kelvin Francis started the business in 1978, after working in the District Valuers Office of the Inland Revenue and for many years in Estate Agency in Berkshire, Gloucestershire and Cardiff. A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Kelvin is also a keen motorcyclist.

A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Tony, a first generation Welsh/Italian, joined the firm in 1987. He is a spokesperson for the RICS on property matters and is a frequent contributor to radio, television and the press. He can be seen on 'Homes under the Hammer', 'Hot Houses', 'X-Ray' and 'Week in Week Out' amongst others.
